SURVIVAL TIPS AND EDC IDEAS
6 BEST EDC AND SURVIVAL PICKS
HOW THE RIGHT EDC COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE.
No day is guaranteed the way you might expect. Some of us have known people who we spoke to on a previous day and the next day they are longer with us.
It could happen to us as well. No one knows what will happen from day to day, but if we think about our EDC it could be just what we need in a particular situation. For some, carrying a pouch with a first aid kit is normal whereas for someone else a multitool has been found to be useful more often than not. An EDC is different for everyone. It would be wise however to really examine your environment and base your EDC upon your examination. Pray for the best, but plan for the worst.
THE RIGHT SURVIVAL GEAR
Do you carry a bug out bag? For some this is a normal practice for others not so much.
One would have to be living under a rock to not know you should be ready for the unexpected always. Natural and man made disaster are common and they can happen at any time. Being prepared and having the right survival gear is a must for you and your family. A traffic jam in the winter time can cause delays up to hours, when you run out of gas, what now ? Do you have food, water, extra clothing, a blanket or sometime to start a fire to keep warm until you get help? Not many people think about this until it's too late. Right now could you survive in a situation like this ? Start now by preparing for the unexpected.
FOOD AND WATER
Fresh food and clean water is every human's life line and none of us can live without it. If any of these 2 are bad you will not live long. Power outages during storms are happening more frequently than in the past and can cause food stored in the fridge or freezer to spoil after a while. If it's in warmer months even sooner. Dehydrated or freeze dried food should be strongly considered as a backup.
Fresh water does not come directly from your faucet unless there's a filtration system. If you don't have one get one. Even consider a portable one to keep in your car, your purse or backpack. Also being able to cook food in a survival situation could save your life and the life of your loved ones
